We do the same thing in my family. We have a special Christmas tree setup in the family room that displays just past & present Christmas photo cards it’s a wonderful way to share laughs & cherished memories at the annual Christmas gathering.

Hey, I am one of those people who don’t sent out cards, my parents live less than 1/4 mile away, if they want to see the grandkids, they can certainly drive (or walk) over! If they lived farther away, then I would definately send them!

I’m a big fan of candid pictures. In fact every year I create a collage with my candid pictures, they just tell a wonderful story. I think a photo card would be a great way to share this with everyone in the family.

I think when I receive Christmas photo cards from my family that show them on vacation, I absolutely adore them! It shows my loved ones in a time of pure enjoyment, rather than them just posing by the Christmas tree. There is definitely a smile on my grandchildren’s faces that are “happier” when they are on the beach, at Disney, or anywhere besides the tree!

I love getting photo cards from my friends and family at Christmastime. Some of my distant relatives live too far for us to see on a regular basis, so it is like getting a surprise every year when I open up the cards and see how big the kids have gotten, or what outfits they decide to dress the pooches in! I keep them after Christmas is over as well!

My daughter does the same thing! She tells me about all of the great pictures she takes and then never sends them. She posts them on Facebook so I had to open a Facebook account just to see my grandchildren
